The Year I…

Accomplishments… Are You Celebrating?

Since the last issue entitled, Accomplishments: Celebrate Yours, some of you have shared the year’s highlights with me and others have told me that your list is in the making.  I encourage you to carry through with this exercise, by writing it down and also reading it aloud to someone else.  This helps you to really feel the celebrating part.

The Year I…

It was this time last year that I was talking to a colleague about what we viewed as our achievements with regard to our respective businesses.  Looking back over the year and thinking about the workshops I had delivered to various groups, I said, “This is the year I became a speaker.”  My friend thought this was an exciting way to look at things.  How do all our individual efforts add up?  Where are they leading?

As you review all your progress, challenges, and accomplishments from the year, what do you see?  It might be something that’s clearly visible, such as, The year I bought my new home, or The year I accepted a new job.  Or, it may have to do with a significant change in direction:  The year I got serious about fitness.  The year I uncapped my income potential.

Who Am I Becoming?

You don’t have to know what you’ll be saying next December, but it’s fun to think about it.  “2005: The year I ________.”    If it could be anything, what would it be?  I’d love to hear from you on this one.  Send me an email and consider it a time capsule wish!
